Overview

Comparative politics is the field of political science that studies and compares how different countries organize their governments, conduct elections, and develop policies, and how unique social, cultural, and ideological factors influence the political behavior of individual governments.

It is the study of how different countries govern, how they make decisions, what makes governments similar or different, and why some systems work better than others.
