Overview

Physical geography is a branch of geography that focuses on understanding the Earth’s natural environment. Physical geographers study and examine the Earth’s natural physical features, such as mountains, rivers, weather patterns, and ecosystems.  They also seek to understand how the planet works and how the Earth’s processes affect humans and the environment.
